My pool is green, what should I do?

1. Remove debris from the pool as far as possible with a net and brush all surfaces of the pool.
2. Shock dose the pool with chlorine and maintain chlorine levels in the pool. A green pool will constantly use the chlorine so you'll have to keep adding more.
3. Add a suitable algaecide to your pool and balance the water.
4. Run the pump for as long as necessary (may take several days) remembering to backwash the filter every day at least.
5. If the pool isn't too cloudy you can now look at adding a clarifier to help clear up the water, alternatively you can give the pool a floc treatment if it remains cloudy.
